This Privacy Policy explains how TinyMail ("TinyMail," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use tinymail.club and related services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account and profile information, such as your email address, display name, avatar URL, and account role.
- Club listing and page content submitted by club owners, including club details, widget content, and media files you upload.
- Community activity, such as favorites, reviews, and reports submitted through the platform.
- Waitlist signup data, including email address, club ID, signup timestamp, and waitlist status fields.
- Billing and subscription metadata for paid listings, such as plan tier, subscription status, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers. Payment card details are processed by Stripe, not stored by TinyMail.
- Usage and analytics events, such as page views, subscription clicks, waitlist signups, timestamps, and basic referral-source metadata.
- Technical and anti-abuse data, such as request header data (including IP-derived signals) we may process to enforce rate limits and protect the service.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain core platform functionality.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts.
- Enable club publishing, waitlist workflows, and dashboard features.
- Process and administer paid listings and subscription status.
- Send service-related emails, such as account welcome and payment confirmation messages.
- Measure product usage and improve performance, reliability, and feature quality.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, or policy violations.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and platform rules.
3. How We Share Information
We may share information in the following situations:
- With service providers that help operate TinyMail, including Supabase (infrastructure/data), Stripe (payments), and Resend (transactional email).
- With club owners, for data intentionally submitted to their waitlists through club pages.
- With legal authorities or other parties when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of TinyMail, users, or the public.
- As part of a business transaction such as a merger, financing, or acquisition, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal protections.
TinyMail does not currently sell personal information for money.
4. Cookies, Storage, and Similar Tech
- We use essential authentication/session cookies to keep you signed in and protect account access.
- We may use local browser storage for product UX state (for example, UI preference or tip dismissal states).
- If you block essential cookies, some parts of TinyMail may not function as intended.
5. Data Retention
- We retain account and club data while your account and listings are active and as needed to provide the service.
- Waitlist records are retained until deleted by the relevant club owner (including via reset and export workflows) or removed through support handling.
- We may retain limited records for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements.
6. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- You can update certain profile and club information in your account dashboard.
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us.
- If you joined a club waitlist and want your email removed, contact that club owner or email TinyMail support.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
Club pages may include links to third-party sites (for example, checkout or subscription pages) that are not controlled by TinyMail. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
9. Children's Privacy
TinyMail is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page.
