Hi! I’m an artist based in New York, and I’m the creator behind The Yellow Line snail mail club!
The idea came to me after overcoming a ten year creative block. Perfectionism once kept me from making art, so I found a way to set it aside, and now I create freely.
I make abstract one-line drawings with pen, using my left hand, eyes closed, and no plan. I quiet my mind, relinquish control, and just flow. Once the drawing is done, I step back to see what image appears within the lines. I highlight the image in yellow watercolor for you all to see what I see. Surprisingly, even some of my memories have found their way onto the page!
Through abstract drawings, & reflections, I invite you to slow down, and rediscover creativity in the small moments of everyday life.
