Postmarked: A Monthly Mail Club
About
Each month I choose one destination and spend a while digging through old maps of it. Then I write you a letter about the place. Not a travel guide, and not a list of restaurants you'll never go to. The good stuff: why the streets bend the way they do, what used to be where the train station is now, the festival nobody outside the city has heard of, the thing about the map that made me pick it. I don't announce where we're going. You find out when the envelope lands. That letter comes with a few small things to keep. A postcard you can actually mail to someone. A sheet of stickers. And an object with a piece of that month's map printed on it, which changes month to month so you're not collecting twelve of the same thing.
